Conclusion

During this course I received help from some very special mates who are Munky, Ramses y Josè, i thank them for being my friends and be funny.
This semester i worked a lot, professor Dorius never gets tired, with her smile made us work hard, like never before in an english course. Each and every single units were very interesting, the classes were very proactive; the idea of making a blog seems to me like a very nice work but very difficult. i'm going to keep studying english, i'll try to read as much as i can, magazines and stuff and i will chat through the internet with people all over the world, practicing this language which is very important to our personal life and proffesional career.

Claudia Cristina experience in Brighton pt.2

Have you ever seen the colours in the sky?they're all fadding away
from blue to greyit's such a shame
and it's YOU can blame
In a moment I could see it
enjoying landscapes
I thanked God, for what I've got
but now is running out
Three little birds came and say
don't worry about a thing
I believed and so I did
but still the end I see
Yes, it's you the one who's guilty
stop complaining now
is your fault that we're not breathing
we made the chemical life.

Claudia Cristina experience in Brighton

As I was walking to school this morning, I thought about the time I have left here, one month. Time goes so fast. When I start to remember all the things I've done here, it feels like it was yesterday when it all happened. It's a mix of emotions, like happiness combined with a sweet melanconly. Now I'm understanding little by little how the mechanism of this process works.
It is the 14th of September and as I walk away from my parents knowing I'll be back in just six months, still deep inside it feels like forever. Time goes by in England as I get used to it. It's funny how things I feel like part of my routine, seemed so strange at the begginning. Is it a kind of a human anestesia to get so used to things so as not to suffer being so far from home? Well, leaving that to science, I still feel the same way.
I star to make a list in my mind about all the things I want to do before going back home, and I can't believe I haven't even gone to the Royal Pavilion. I don't know if I should laugh or worry..
Apart from my Brighton life, what about my home life? I still miss my family so much. I guess I won't find a balance in time. So little time for Brighton, but so much time for being without my family. It's like knowing someday I have to go back but "just give me five more minutes" or like eating a chocolate, knowing it will end in just a few seconds, but how great the taste is. Each day is like a bite of the chocolate, every day tastes better and I'm enjoying till the end.
At the end of this month I think I will say this was one of the best experiences I've had. The sensation of freedom, doing what I want to, when I want to, and how I want to, but without having responsabilities of working or worrying about too many things. It's just good.
Making friends from around the world, travelling to new places, discovering cultures, learning so many things and the list just goes on and on. To conclude, I guess I just have to say, enjoy your chocolate to the maximum.

Influence of media

The society values are often influenced by the media, through shows and commercials where violence and sex scences are mayor protagonists. Now days parents leave their childrens alone at home when they go to work, and sometimes dont have the enough education to understand that Childs are not recomended to see or listen certain types of programs. Also the newspapers and magazines do the same mistake in their pages. In my opinion parents have the responsibility to know what their family gets from the differents kind of information networks everyday.

Pros and cons of looking for a job

The experience of searching for a job through the internet was rewarding. It helped me realize how much competition there is in my field, but it only made me want to become a better professional.

It also made me aware of all the existing possibilities when it comes to job seeking. Nowadays, it has become easier to look for one, since there are various ways such as newspaper advertisements, job fairs, company websites, internet, headhunters or through recommendations.

In order to get a desired job, you must work hard throughout your college years, obtain good grades, keep a professional attitude and most of all, persevere.

I’ll certainly keep an optimistic approach when it comes to job searching and will encourage myself to cultivate my professional career.

Opinion about the video

My opinion about this video is that I think it’s so sad; I really don’t like it at all.
It’s is injustice what happened to this beautiful girl and to this guy. The reasons for my opinion it’s only that It’s too cruel, I believe in love at first sight and at the beginning I was so glad with the story but then when the liquid fall into the eyes of the girl and then the guy give his eyes to her without any kind of conversation with her.
I don’t know if I’m correct with this opinion, but it’s mine, I like things very clear and everything has to be explain for both persons that has a relation.

Well, I would like to know about your’s, please let me know about it.

My favorite TV commercial

Right now, my favorite TV comercial its the Gatorade advertisement, it shows a very exciting soccer game where viewer see many intense momentsduring the game. People can also see how sweat is exuded through thepores of the skin of the players as if it were gatorade, I though it wasbrilliant how it transmits the effectivenes of this drink weach isloaded with nutritients and salts minerals who are lost during anyworkout. Players really enjoyed drinking gatorade during the half timeand continued playing with much energy the second half. I inmediatlywanted a gatorade!! It looked very refreshing….I hope you also like this type of commercial, I think is perfect forpeople who do exercises.

Introducing myself

Hi, my name is Maria Gabriela, but everybody calls me Gaby or Maria. I was born in Maracaibo on January 17th; right now I am studying Industrials Relations at URBE. I love music, especially jazz, I also like to work out every day at the gym, but someday I rather go to running at “la vereda del Lago” in the afternoon. I have a son, his name is Rafael Eduardo, who is an Engineer, I also have a daughter, and she is 18 years old and is planning to study at “the Universidad del Zulia”.
I hate violence, war, injustice and lies, I dream of seeing my two sons happy and having a successful life.
I think English is very important for everybody, I am aware of that and my two sons went to other countries to learn it.
I took this class because I want to continue learning this idiom and also make friends to practice with me, so last week I talked with two of my classmate, one was Jose Inciarte, he’s from Maracaibo also, and he likes to play soccer. He study electronic Engineer in URBE, he told me that he doesn’t like to cook and clean out his room. He has a dream, he wants to be the owner of a successfully company.
I also meet Jose Carlos Melendez; he is a very nice person and is also from Maracaibo. He studies Graphic Design, he is 22 years old. I ask about what he likes and Juan told me that he wants to create things, to have an original ideas.
He doesn’t like the injustice, and his dream is to be a great singer.

Introduction

I think the course was very entertaining, I practice my english, I did lots of homeworks and I learnt how to edit my works. I wrote paragraphs which began with a main idea that contained the principal topic to later on, support this idea with some affirmations and then concluding with a sentence that caught up the idea of the paragraph.
